Bounce Agency Ltd ("Bounce", "we") is committed to protecting your personal data. This notice explains what we collect when you visit bounce-agency.com or deal with us, why, and your rights.

What we collect and why

When you contact us — if you email or call us, we collect your name, contact details and the content of your message. We use this to respond to you and, where relevant, to provide our services. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or taking steps to enter into a contract with you.

When you visit our website — we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type). This involves cookies. Lawful basis: [consent — see note to Andrew below]. Our website is hosted by Fabrik, whose servers process standard technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site.

Business contacts — we hold business contact details (name, role, organisation, business email) of clients, suppliers and prospective clients, gathered from our dealings with you or from professional sources such as LinkedIn. We use these to manage our relationships and to tell relevant organisations about our services. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in running and promoting our business. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Sharing your data

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business — under contracts that protect your data. Some providers, such as Google, may process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are protected by UK-approved safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

We may disclose data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: enquiry correspondence for 2 years, client records for 8 years, typically 6 years after the relationship ends for legal and accounting purposes, and analytics data for 14 months.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us for access to your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to our use of it (including any direct marketing, which we will stop on request), and to data portability. There is no fee, and we will respond within one calendar month.

To exercise any right, email hello@bounce-agency.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
